The shared kitchen was a lifesaver .

I encountered major issues with check-in. I had to stand outside for 45 minutes waiting for someone to let me in. The lack of guidance and contact options left me feeling helpless, and the discomfort from the cold air coming through the window.

I did not want to leave, so would definitely recommend this hotel. Had good sleep at the twin room with super comfortable bed, a good breakfast, for instance...

Fantastic location to Arktikum Museum. Easy to get around Rovaniemi with the train station located close to the hotel. Fairly friendly, very very nice staff towards all guests. Lots of savoury options for meal: D

Wicked close to the train and bus stations, awesome. Staff totally helped me out with my bags before check-in. My room had this nice balcony I didn't expect! Perfect for catching some fresh air. The inside is way nicer than the outside looks. Seriously, I liked this place.

Dragging my suitcase up that tiny hill was not what i signed up for. I also couldn't believe the hot water was gone within minutes! After all my sacrifices for this trip, i might have expected a complimentary upgrade. Too bad, really.

The Guesthouse Borealis offers a family-run atmosphere and really good cleanliness, which I appreciated. The location is superb, with free on-site parking. Breakfast was satisfying, though I missed an option for a double bed. Still, I'd certainly recommend staying here.

This place suits me perfectly! It offers free wi-fi, a shared kitchen, and no smoking on site. I remember when the staff helped me with returning important documents I left behind. I highly recommend it for a comfortable stay.

The Twin Room was cozy and had a comfortable bed, long enough for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was super clean and warm with great water pressure. Wi-Fi was solid too. The downside was space. It was just enough for a suitcase in the corner. The check-in hours were a bit tricky as they aren't 24/7. But overall, decent stay!

Comfortable stay with beautiful breakfast

The location was great, just a nice walk away from downtown, and I secure hotel even when returning solo at night. One thing I wished for was a warmer room. My son's room had a space heater, but mine did not, a bit chilly at times.

The breakfast spread was just right, with fruits and good coffee. The kids loved our visit to Santa Village! It was a real highlight of our trip with my girlfriend.

In my wife's opinion, check-in hours were tricky for families.

Guesthouse borealis is a gem! It's just up the hill from the train station. The room was cozy enough for one person, with a comfy bed and a clean bathroom. I also loved the strong wifi, a lifesaver for my online plans.

Location was perfect. Just minutes from the train station. The self-cooking kitchen was a lifesaver , especially with the extreme temperatures. Plus, my clean and warm room made it so cozy. I particularly appreciated having a bathroom that was up to par, no cold showers here!

I had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was impressively clean and warm with great water pressure, not something you take for granted.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable for what you get.
